The Game

Every season, we compete with other robots in a game that is unique each year. Here is each game that our team has competed in so far. To learn more about the games throughout the years, click here!

2015:

The 2015 game is Recycle Rush. For this game we had to stack different colored totes onto platforms, and pool noodles were considered as “litter”. This was not easy. With the size limitation and the space available, it was hard to maneuver with two other robots trying to do the same as us. In this game, there is no need for defense. The field is divided into two sides and each alliance is not allowed to cross the center.

2014:

The 2014 FRC game is Aerial Assist. For this game we had to build a robot to be able to lift, catch, and throw a large exercise ball into two different goal levels for points. At the same time we needed to design our robot to be able to pass and receive passes from other robots for extra points! This may seem like a simple game, but it was not in any way easy!

2013:

The 2013 FRC Game is Ultimate Ascent. For this game we had to build our robot to be able to ‘shoot’ frisbees into four different goal levels for differing point values, and at the same time be able to reload this ‘shooter’ of sorts. Then at the end of the 2 minute 15 second match, our robot faced the challenge of having to climb a skeletal structured pyramid.
